Neuropsychology Team

Clinical neuropsychology uses an extensive variety of sensitive well standardized procedures to test brain behaviour relationships in patients. The object is to detect or confirm the presence of brain dysfunction and to describe the type and extent of behavioural impairments in patients of all ages.

  • Romeo Vitelli, Ph.D., C.Psych., is a Forensic Neuropsychologist and specializes in assessing head injuries and malingering. Dr. Vitelli practices at The Millwork Correctional Centre and is responsible for forensic and clinical assessments.
  • M. Rashid, Ph.D., C.Psych., has extensive experience in neuropsychological and psychosocial assessments. As a consultant in DAC centres and Provincial Ministries throughout the province, Dr. Rashid is a valuable and respected member in his field.
  • Stella Lamptey, has over 15 years in professional experience as a Neuropsychologist conducting clinical assessments/evaluations and has provided treatment to individuals with various psychological conditions in several clinical settings, universities and private practices.
  • Gloria Zhang has over 5 year of professional experience as a Ph.D. in conducting phychological and neurophysiology assessments and evaluations. She is presently being supervised by Dr. Vitelli and in the process of completing all requirements as a registered psychologist.
  • John Gilman is a Neuropsychologist with over 15 years of experience. John Gilman specializes in displacing inappropriate behaviors with Adaptive Behavior Training. He is a Physiological Psychological Psychologist and Psycho-Physiologist by training with additional expertise in Clinical Neuro-Psychology and Research.
